(Miami, FL) Martes, 17 de febrero, 2009 - El 2008 fue un año de grandes éxitos para La Factoría y durante el día de hoy lo confirman al darse a conocer que el afamado grupo panameño ganó dos nominaciones a Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2009. La agrupación fue nombrada finalista en la categoría Latín Rhythm Álbum del Año, Dúo o Grupo con la producción “Nuevas Metas” y Latín Ringmasters del Año con el tema “Perdóname”. Este último fue a dúo con el cantante Eddy Lover y se posicionó por 15 semanas consecutivas en la primera posición de los listados por encima de grandes intérpretes de diferentes géneros. “Que reconozcan nuestra música con tan sólo estar nominados a los Billboards en un honor para nosotros. Esto, unido al respaldo de toda nuestra fanaticada, es la satisfacción más grande de un artista”, expresó Demphra, cantante principal de la agrupación. La Factoría está próxima a lanzar al mercado la primera producción como solista de Demphra, la cual se titulará simplemente “Demphra”. La propuesta se espera esté en el mercado el 19 de mayo, mientras su primer sencillo “Hay Otro En Mi Vida” ya se encuentra sonando fuertemente en la radio y está disponible para descargas digitales. La Undécima Entrega de Premios Billboard de la Música Latina será televisada en vivo por Telemundo el jueves, 23 de abril desde el Bank United Center de la Universidad de Miami en Florida. LA FACTORIA RECEIVES 2 NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2009 LATIN BILLBOARD AWARDS
The group was nominated as finalists in the categories for Latin Rhythm Album of the Year, Duo or Group for their album “Nuevas Metas” and Latin Ringmasters for the Year for ringtone sales of their single “Perdoname”. “Perdoname” features Eddy Lover and maintained the #1 position on the radio airplay charts for 15 weeks above big names from different genres. “It’s a great honor to have our music recognized and to receive these Billboard nominations. This along with the continued support of our fans is the greatest satisfaction an artist can receive, “expressed Demphra, the lead vocalist of the group. La Factoría’s next release is the first solo album from the singer/rapper “Demphra” and will be titled simple “Demphra”. The album will be released on May 19. The first single “Hay Otro En Mi Vida” is already beginning to heat up at radio and is available for digital download at all online stores and mobile carriers. The 10th Latin Billboard Music Awards will be presented at the University of Miami’s Bank United Center on Thursday, April 23 and will be broadcast live on the Telemundo network.
